It has been days since the battle that the ponyfolk have dubbed "The Lunar Conflict." The ponies of the Lunar Republic have busied themselves with restoring order as it once was. Tearing down the fortifications, restoring the land to its former beauty, and nursing the wounded back to health.
A ceremony is held in the Republic's square, celebrating the victory, and honoring those who fought so bravely to defend their home. As speeches are made by various officers, The Lunar Princess gazes to the north, pondering what is happening on the other side. She knows the conflict is far from over, but for now, she must take satisfaction in small victories.
As the ceremony nears its conclusion, Luna approaches a covered object, newly installed, and gives a small parting speech.

Let it stand not on as a commemoration, but a reminder that as long as we are willing to fight for what we believe in, we shall never be overcome!
